Thanks for the performance improvement in the Hyperspeed update. It really smoothes out the performance of my late game. No more stutters. At least for now... :)

Are games started with the Aurora update compatible with the Hyperspeed update?

How does an empire acquire more ambassadors? I'm in a large galaxy with a dozen other empires and yet I've only got 4 ambassadors. You'd think an empire with 1.2 trillion citizens spread across 150 colonies could find a few more diplomats. What's up with that???

I believe it's not only 500M population, but more restrictively 500M of the species you're trying to load.
I've got a colony with 300M humans and 300M ackdarians, for a total of 600M, but have been unable to load anyone from that colony.

I take it back. I thought adding a distance measurement to the <move-to> popup menu entry would be trivial as the coordinates were already there and a quick distance calculation would be easy to compute as all the info was there. But I'm beginning to wonder if that is really true.

how about when you have a ship or fleet selected, adding distance measure that appears after the move to <x>, <y> coordinates in the right-click pop-up menu? as in: "move to 2512537K, 104283K (307844K)". It was resolved after clearing out many redundant fighter/bomber design names.
Apparently the auto-retrofit got confused by the tangle of design names.
curious if this applies in your situation as well...

Maybe it's because the independent colony contains some members of the surrounding empire in its population. It's possible the Boskarians living amongst the human population aren't sufficiently convinced to join my majority human empire. Though I do have quite the number of ...

depending on its size, a gravillex carcass will fill a ship's hull with several hundred gravillex parts.

to demonstrate the reported behavior, harvest gravillex parts parts until it's only a few parts shy of full.

depends on what the report is intending to convey.

Using 'survives' implies that the surface is currently hostile to life and anything that goes there dies.

Once they're dead, I direct the ships to harvest the gravillex/vordikar/ardilus remains and carcasses.

The list of mining locations only extends into the O's now as I've built a few more mining stations.

I emailed a save game that demonstrates this issue to you as the forum doesn't allow 30MB uploads.

load the game, type F7, and I you'll see the truncated list ...
