I frequently have the "Load Troops" line greyed out.

Just click the "Unload Cargo/Troops" button and the "Load Troops" line will turn on.

<t>My attitude toward this, Dave, is that the ships are being used in other theaters, e.g. the atlantic, northern or central pacific. So I<br/>
don't consider them just "sitting at Pearl." I just played an AI game where I was given 4 BB's over the entire campaign, and never was there more than one ...

You're absolutely right Admiral about the value of the engineers.

Unfortunately, the IJA never got around to manufacturing those
great bulldozers and other vehicles the US possesses in size.

Long Island. With IJN FOW, it's already been reported sunk three times.;)

I agree with this.

Almost all 'ship sunk' reports are on this scrolling screen and do not make it onto the combat report.
I feel that a ship sunk report is worthy of a combat report.

The SC's PC's etc. come in with daytime experience in the 40's and low 50's.

By just cruising around friendly waters a couple weeks you can
get the experience up to 55. This is alot like the 'training'
command for air groups.

Yes, you have to be careful with those fearless Hudson's.

Out of PM on Naval Attack they seem just to attack TF's at Rabul and Kavieng.

.what experience levels & altitudes do peeps recommend for air born ASW?

with experience levels under 80 I opt for 3000 feet. This will
usually spot the sub and direct the surface asw ships.
I'll use 1000 feet with air asw with exp over 80 to try to kill.

The bases on New Caledonia are malaria free. Luganville and Efate units will degrade over time.

Being malaria free, Townsville always becomes my main western base.
