RE: 7/31 and STILL no cd

I ordered on 7/2 and am still waiting. DR said they've reshipped, but nothing's showed up yet. I'll never get cd on demand again.

And I'm at 18 days in New Mexico with no disk. I don't mind the digital download model of game distribution, but the CD on demand really sucks. Digitalriver really ought to be shipping these things out within 1 or 2 business days.

It'd be really nice to see secondary mission indicated in the List All Naval Aircraft and List All LBA displays, especially since so many planes are often on Naval attack and performing a critical secondary mission also.<br/>

RE: LSD has me confused

Ah, many thanks tanjman. So it appears the LSD really is just one type of landing craft. The "dock" in its name and my ignorance had me thinking it might have other bonuses when compared to LSTs or LSVs.

LSD has me confused

Okay, so I know it's a Landing Ship Dock, but can anyone tell me what they're used for? Are they just another landing craft that can carry troops and supplies or do they actually somehow help other transports unload faster?

RE: Why is there even a cancel load troops button???

<t> I think what's being asked for here really isn't a "global" undo that'll cancel the last input the player entered in his turn. Instead what's being asked for is two things: 1) To have a "stop loading troops" button that works just like the current "cancel loading troops" to allow you to load ...

Bug: computer automatically creates cargo task forces in scenarios 3 and 6

<r> For the bugfixers: Even though there are no zones since scenarios 3 and 6 aren't full map scenarios, the computer generates new cargo taskforces for me every turn. I can't turn this off.<br/>
<br/>
I have saves where this happened for 6 and maybe for 3 if this is at all useful. I did have auto ...

<t> I've also seen this in both scenarios 3 (Japanese) and 6 (Allies)--computer generated cargo taskforces and no way, since these are not full map scenarios, to make it stop. I have saves where this happened for 6 and maybe for 3. I did have auto-sub ops on in 3, but don't in 6. <br/>

Bug/Feature: setting training to 100 results in LRCAP

Not sure if this is a bug or a feature, but setting the training of an air unit to 100% results in the mission being changed to long range CAP.

I see, looks like I mistook the altitude for the altitude at which the fighters escort. It's really the CAP altitude when I've selected an Escort mission for the fighters.

Thanks to you both for the help.

Need clarification on escort altitudes

<t> I need clarification on altitudes for escorts. I'd always assumed that if you set the altitude for 10K feet, then the escorts escort at 10K feet. If you're bombers are at 15K feet, that's too bad, you'll be flying 5K feet below them.<br/>
<br/>
But according to the manual, "Flyers flying ...
