RE: Patch Update

I still play this game too. Not anywhere near dead. I will still be playing this game for a long, long time. It's going to be a classic in my book.

RE: the 109s vs bombers

<t> For what it's worth, I recently read a journal kept by my wife's grandfather.&nbsp; He was a radio operator for a B-17 in the 8th Air Force, 381st Bomb Group, 535th Bomb Squadron.<br/>
&nbsp;<br/>
He kept a journal log after each of his 35 missions, talking about each raid and what all ...

<t> My wife's grandfather, who has already passed away, was a radio operator on a B-17, 8th air force, 381st BG, 535 SQ.&nbsp; He mostly flew in the Stage Door Canteen, according to his journal.&nbsp; I just got to read his journal for the first time the other week.<br/>

RE: Aircraft withdrawal and gaining political points

I guess we need documentation for the undocumented features.&nbsp; The people that developed this game know all this, but we don't.&nbsp; Don't get me wrong, the manual is big and what's there is good stuff, but that manual probably should have been six or seven hundred pages.

<t> I can understand byplanes being maneouverable, I am just having a hard time seeing a pt stearman downing a corsair.&nbsp; Maybe I'm wrong, but I thought the corsair was just about the most maneouverable fighter at high speeds, which is what made it great?&nbsp; A zero could out-maneouver a ...

<t> I just ran my first turn last night, and at Pearl an 800kg bomb hit a PT boat.&nbsp; I said to myself "that things toast" and the message that came up said something along the lines of "PT 22 was obliterated!"&nbsp; I laughed then cried.&nbsp; I need to slow down the messages I think.&nbsp; I'm ...

I think you would grow to love the production spiral.&nbsp; It was a blessing that World at War used it.&nbsp; In that game, once a carrier hit the block where Carrier air groups were made, you start building the carrier air group for it (this might not make since if ...

<t> I am wondering how artillery is handled in combat (whether it's like AWD with suppression or more like WAW).<br/>

Actually I wouldn't mind finding out about combat calculations in general, but I'm sure the aar will get there eventually.<br/>

Do you plan on modding Battle of Britain and Bombing the Reich? (I assume the plane files
will be similar?)
