The bank in my town is almost poorer than me...

and for saving, let's see. If I save for 3 years, year income is -50 euro, and my current reserves are 25, so.... ****, grim future.

I didn't mean to be hostile.

And no, it's not a good solution, money is the problem. And my comp too.

And yes, I do wonder about the OS prob. Most new games still work on 95. I haven't found that many games not working on it.

Yeah, great solution. Would you also give me the cash to do it? That's right, you won't.

Yeah, it might, but I'm feeling lazy and don't need that patch that badly. Just asked if someone would happen to know... besides, I already follow enough different forums already.

<r><E>:)</E> Yeah I know, comparing MW/MC and ToS isn't the brightest idea... but it raised a little talk here so..<br/>

Just one last question. Are there any newer patches for MW2:Mercs than the d3d patch? I haven't found, but I think the game would have needed one...<br/>

Well, in the game, shutdown shot is more effective than chain...think about the fact that one shotdown WILL disable at least one part of the mech per shot. If it's a leg, you're out. If it's head, you're out. If it's C torso, you're out.<br/>

<t>Machine guns rock. They take 1 crit, weight .5 (or .3 if clan) and deliver as much damage as AC2 only faster. True the range is short, but if you like close combat, MCs are the thing. Put 4 of'em and try it out.<br/>

Shutdown shot in MW3 is not bad. Shutdown goes off in half second. I ...

<t>The heatsystem is replaced with loading times in MC1 and the weapons sure do run out of ammo (guess why I ain't that much of a Gauss freak?? Cos the amounts of enemies you get compared to the tiny 8 ammo load..)<br/>

In MW (2&3) if I use PPCs, I sure do fire them all at once. It takes my ...

Well, so does a PPC and I recall they take about the same space...dunno about MC2, since my ancient stone age machine isn't good enough to run it.

Not that great, I know :)

But that's the point that killed the use of Gauss in any MW/MC I've played. That goes to almost every other ammo based weapon.

Well, with ammo problem, I meant the low amount of ammo a mech can carry for a Gauss.
Yes, it is true that I've never got my hands on board version, sad but true. Also I lack a group of people interested in BT and the like :(

Er PPCs rock in Mechwarrior/commander.....I've heard that plasma gun is the ppc for ToS, but it's not even nearly as good than it is in MW/C, so creating good 'mechs is not possible.

Timber Wolf, the one with racks and ppcs, is the king.

MC1 is much more balanced and better IMO.

Though the refit truck is way overpower in it too and those repair bays are found everywhere...MC gold's new campaign was even worse and I played it through in 1 day. Got stuff too easily...

<t>The AC4 model (too lazy to check, but I think it's mine)..<br/>

The main point of it is to stand in position (preferrably forest) and shoot series of 3 or 4, wait a few secs, fire again, wait...once you get through the last 3 or 4, the first will be available for firing and the heat is ...
