RE: Critical Industries

About the AA issue, yeah it is a pain. But if you can get above the AA height, like with Mediums, it does work well. Plus, you sometimes get some damage planes and kills on the ground. Especially if you can hit Night fighter bases.

RE: Critical Industries

Bomb an Airbase, or FS it and the Avgas there is destroyed from what I have seen, so if you want them to have an increased demand on AV gas, keep sweeping the Airbases.

Windows 10 Desktop Icon rearrainging

<t> Not sure what is going on, but after I play the game in Full Screen, my Windows 10 Icons on the Desktop all get re arraigned and takes a little while for me to move them back into the previous order. <br/>
<br/>
Is this a known issue or what causes this. I turned auto arraign off, and have ...

RE: Possible BoB bug

Not sure if it helps, but a long time ago, the German Night fighters also had that issue in Bombing the Reich. Not sure how it was fixed, but might be worth looking into.

RE: Looking for an Axis player to join the team

Did not know that. Was wondering where he went. We used to have some really good fights and discussions over Eagle Day. Played the RAF against him. Will say he was really really good at feints and strategy, kept me on my toes. Sorry to hear about that. Was a really dedicated to this game.

Look, give 200 soldiers a smoothbore and 200 other soldiers of equal talent and training a rifled musket, and the riflers will hit more targets because the rifle has longer range, and reloads quicker. It's just a better weapon. Just saying ...

RE: What if Italy Chose Neutrality?

<t> As for opening the Second Front in the West in 1943, don't think it would have happened that soon. By not having to fight in the Med, the lessons learned from the landings in Morocco, Sicily and other Italian landings would not have been learned. Plus exposure to the German Armored Vehicles ...

RE: Had Yamamoto survived...

<t> In all reality, the outcome would not have changed after Midway. But then it poses the question, just how different would the war had gone, if Yamamoto's commanders at Pearl Harbor, had launched a Third Strike against Pearl to get the dry docks and Oil tanks. Further raises the question of if we ...

Scenario Wanted for Civil War

<t> Does anyone know of where I could find a good Gettysburg Scenario. I tried the ones in the 3.4 game, and didn't like it. I'd like a scenario along the lines of the Leipzig "Battle of Nations" one or one based upon or like the old TSR board game Terrible Swift Sword.<br/>

Thank you for your input, appreciate it, will let you now how it goes. Was trying to do it through the production planner, and now I see that it was the wrong way to run it.

Thank you again.

Changing production as LW in BTR

<t> I have a question and can't find the answer here in the forums by searching for it. I normally play the Allies in the long 43 and shorter 44 scenarios, but would like to see how the production and tactics work as the LW in the game. But, I have not been able to figure out how to change ...

RE: gun power vs durability discussion, also regarding fighter vs. fighter combat

<t> Having operated machine guns both .30 cal (7.62) and .50 cal's when I crewed M1A1's in the army, I learned a lot about the mechanics you are discussing about the effectiveness of either set up. So, imho, I believe that in the discussion regarding wing versus Centrally mounting weapons are over ...

RE: Noobie intercept questions

<t> I liked to mass on the&nbsp; Italian groups also....or has Hard Sarge forgotten...BTW, my interceptors sometimes got the bombers inbound, LW Fighter escorts mangled them on the inbound raids, but sometimes, just some times, you can mangle the bombers on the way out, when there fewer of them or ...
