RE: More Comments from a Newcomer

<t> I believe that you are dead on with the fore-knowledge and hindsight of the players speeding up the game. A Japanese player knows his days are numbered and how actually weak the Allied defenses are until mid-1942. So he pushes his forces and takes greater risks than any historical commander ...

<t> Civil Wars are always very destrutive and horrible and the wounds from that struggle always take a long, long time to heal. The wounds from the ACW really only healed here in the last thirty years and really because of the extreme mobility of the population. As more and more people moved to the ...

<t> Well, if it is any consolation, there were no CV's in the ft, just CA's and old DD/s covering a resupply and reinforcement tf. The TF was just to make sure that there was no repeat of your Pago Pago raid.<br/>

Treespider and I ran into this in our current game. The only thing that worked for us (after Treespider trying numerous things) was to turn all the sound options to 0. Everything ran smoothly after that.

<t> The invasion of Singakwang was a brillant and bold maneuver. The day before the landing, planes from Singapore had spotted the tf with APD's and damaged one of the fast destroyers.
