I'll definitely be interested in playing some chinese/jap battles. In fact, I'd also appreciate it if anyone can point me in some web resources dealing with this little-mentioned subject, such as description of the major battles in this theater. thanks

must be pre-plotted

<r>The problem with bombers is that their mission must be pre-plotted during deployment, before the first turn. However, it is possible to plot them to arrive in any turn other than turn-0 initial bombardment, if that's what you want. Press the "t" key in the bombardment screen which allows you to ...

<t>I love all 3 of them, but here's my preference:<br/>
<br/>
1) MCLV<br/>
2) MCNA<br/>
3) MCWT<br/>
<br/>
MCLV is on top for one because it's the only one I've already completed, and I also like the combined arms battles. MCWT is on the low end for one reason because I've already played the ...

<r>Hello friends. I too have purchased all 3 MCs and so far have completed one, the MCLV. From what I heard a while back, the final patch is only gonna contain some missing end-of-battle-wrapup text files (for the Don battles, for example) and maybe a couple of scenario rebalancing, nothing major. I ...

Did you know...

<t>Did you know that truck drivers carry some smoke grenades in their glove compartment?<br/>
<br/>
If your truck somehow ends its turn in the LOS of a mean-*** enemy tank, bail the crew. Chances are the crew will have a couple of smoke grenades to use even though the truck unit does not have one to ...

recon units discover better

<t>Welcome Matthias72! Yes, units with "Recon ability" listed in their stat screen such as recon team, recon patrol, sniper, and some armored car recon units will spot better than regular non-recon troops. However, remember recon-vehicle is also VERY easy to be spotted, and therefore knocked-out by ...

my 2 cents

<r>I vaguely remember playing this scenario a while back. There are some interesting situation (close to the map center, you'll find out <E>:)</E> ) However, if memory serves the victory exit hexes at the bottom of this map do not work. I suspect that it's a bug, but then it could have been the ...

don't you just love it when your engineer laid one little mine, and the next turn a big ol' enemy tank rolls up and just hits the one and only mine in the hex and blows up? :D

What is a "Brendenburger", and does it taste like a Hamburger??

Hello folks, I first saw Brendenburgers at a MCLV scenario. Then recently I started MCNA and saw them again in one of the first desert battles. So I'm just curious who they were, where the name came from, and how well did they do? Anyone have a brief summary of their history? Thanks

you've "arived"

<t>Welcome, ariv! Just FYI I'm running Windows 2000 on Thinkpad T20 laptop and have very infrequent crashes running SPWAW, maybe once a month on average. I find it to be very stable, even when I multi-task with a few other programs, and it also works fine with the laptop's suspense/hibernation mode ...
